This was my first miter/chop saw also i looked around alot before buying it. I compared dewalt 723, craftsman also bond of other models from home depot.
Dewalt was twice as expensive ($209) also craftsmans from sears was pretty darn cheap also althoug you could buy a sliding compound miter for less that $200, the character wasn’t righteousness. There were many complaints about cheap synthetic parts also even cheaper angle/cut character. Other ryobi also makita were similar toward hitachi also dewalt, except werent’ that popular also couldn’t find many reviews.
After all this analysis also talking toward bond of contractors, they suggested that Hitachi C10FCE2 is equally righteousness also i ended up ordering one from amazon.
I arrived inside 2 days (with free shipping) also since the blades are new you could you use it toward cut moulding right out of the box. But may be when you cut 2×4s for few months, you might poverty a newer blade with more teeths. The structure of the saw itself is strong also it comes with few accessories.
Dust bag isn’t very useful as it captures single part of the dust, except that’s true with all other brands as well. I haven’t tried mounting it on a stand, except have heard population complain about incompatibility with dewalt miter stand.
Used it bond of time for miter also compound miter, also all the angles were perfect with fine cuts.
I highly recommed this saw.
